Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Team Handball, was formed in 1959 to foster and promote the sport of Team Handball in the United States.
The Mission of the USA Team Handball is to develop and educate, promote and advance the sport of Team Handball at all levels in the United States; and to enable American athletes to achieve sustained competitive excellence with the objective of winning medals at international and Olympic competition.
Membership in USA Team Handball is open to everyone involved at all levels including: handball in schools, college and university programs, regional clubs, and youth, junior and senior national teams. Additionally, USA Team Handball is the national governing body for beach handball and coordinates the activities of the national teams for international competitions. It sanctions numerous events annually and conducts championships for indoor and beach programs.
Unlike most countries, USA Team Handball does not receive government funding. We count on people like you to help provide our athletes with the resources they need to become Olympians and Paralympians – and represent America on and off the field of play.
Simply put, your support makes it all possible.
